Welcome to our Wednesday in preschool!

More fall leaf pictures...we have a variety and are enjoying making each one beautiful...

Many were excited to see geoboards still available during free choice time! Great for problem solving, small motor control, and forming shapes!

Austin had his problem solving skills hard at work as he built this "car"!

To finish morning meeting I placed 6 nature items on the carpet! Our friends job was to study the items and then "lock" them in his/her brain. I covered them up with a towel and took 1 or 2 items away! I couldn't even fool them one time! Recognizing and recalling is an early cognitive skill.

Off to get a quick picture of our eyes...look for results/information in your child's folder!

On to the playground before our PARTY #1!!!

Time for our Fall Harvest Party #1!
Everyone was super excited and couldn't wait for games to start!

But first...a yummy snack of pretzels, halloween cookies, and pumpkins (cutie oranges)!

Then, our friends enjoyed listening to a Pete the Cat book while snack was being cleaned up!

Finally game time...Yikes...some spider ring toss was on the agenda!

We bowled right over some candy corn!

We created beautiful art with "magic" leaves!  Ask your child what made them magic!

We played fall BINGO, using caramels as markers!  We were excited to hear that there are some caramels in the goody bags that are going home in backpacks today!

We wrapped up our party, spending a little time with Corduroy!

A BIG thank you to Mr. Schenck, Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Herbert, Mrs. Green, and Mrs. Kulp for coming and helping out with the party!

After all the party excitement, we enjoyed playing outside on the parking lot playground...

During Jesus Time today we read the story of Joseph's brothers returning to Egypt. We remembered that even though it can be hard, we should always forgive someone for their poor choices!

Have a great night...
