Happy Friday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year...all wrapped into one!!!
It is hard to believe that the first semester is over and the second half of the school year is upon us!  Prayers for each of you for a safe and happy holiday season.  I am looking forward to a GREAT rest of the school year with your wonderful kiddos!

You could feel the excitement in the air today...Christmas is almost here!  But, still one more day of fun and learning with our friends!

So...for the last time in 2018...check out our day!!!

Have a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year...see you in 2019!

We enjoyed our last full day before Christmas break!

A couple friends strengthened the finger, wrist, and hand muscles forming little "stripes" of playdoh.  Then, added the correct number of stripes to each candy cane!

Will decided to improve writing and drawing skills as he created on blank "canvas"!

Happy 4 1/2 Birthday Harper! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

As a part of Harper's birthday celebration, she got to paint a special picture (she chose purple and pink as her colors today). As each friend celebrates his/her birthday, I will hang his/her painting on the wall.  By May we should have 1 large, beautiful painting!

To finish morning meeting we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (currently a Zion Kindergarten teacher).  This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!  A few friends even helped read it with me today!

We enjoyed a birthday party for Jesus during Chapel today!!!

Another day closer to Christmas day, so we watched a different Veggie Tales Christmas movie, "The Star of Christmas"!  It taught us all about the true "star of Christmas"...baby Jesus, and the true story of God's love!

We then enjoyed a journey to the school library where Mrs. Haun read us a story all about an old lady who swallowed a bell!  We even got to feed her old lady puppet all of the items she ate in the book!

After a bit of a different day...we needed extra time to get all our wiggles (and Christmas excitement) out in the gym!

Thank you for checking out our day!

We had a great day in preschool!

A couple friends strengthened the finger, wrist, and hand muscles forming little "stripes" of playdoh.  Then, added the correct number of stripes to each candy cane!

These two decided to improve writing and drawing skills as they created on blank "canvas"!

Some friends expressed creativity while painting a Christmas picture reminding us the reason for the season!

Max has become quite the master builder!

A wonderful day to spend outside for large motor time!

As we near closer and closer to Christmas day, we watched a Veggie Tales Christmas movie.  It taught us all about St. Nicholas and the gift of giving to others!

We enjoyed more outside time, on this pleasant December day, before heading in for lunch!

Evie did a great job, taking a few pictures before running off to play with friends!

Have a wonderful Wednesday evening!
