One quick reminder...
There is NO school this Friday, 4/3 - Friday, 4/10…enjoy your Easter break!
On to our day...
Many friends took a few minutes to show me what shapes they can draw...
To wrap up morning meeting there were 7 Easter items, but some looked the same except for being a different color! We studied them, reviewed the colors, and locked them in our brain. Then, I covered them with a blanket and took 2 away...what was missing? Recognizing and recalling is an early cognitive skill.
A little windy, but otherwise a perfect day to get our bodies moving and improve social skills while playing outside!

For center time, we began talking about how things grow! Today we talked specifically about plants. What do they need:
1. Soil or dirt
2. A seed
3. Water
4. Sunshine
Then, we got to plant something, but we weren't going to use dirt...we used rocks!
Then...we weren't going to use a seed, we planted a bulb!
We did still add some water and put them in the window for some sunshine!
Now we have to show our patience as we watch to see if they grow!
Off to the bike and hula hoop races...
Violet returned the favorite book bag today! Thank you for sharing "The Rabbit Listened" with all of us...we sure thought this was the cutest book ever!
During Jesus time we remembered that Jesus is a true king. He chose to die on the cross to save us from our sins! We are so close to that special day...where He did it ALL for us!
