 Happy Friday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year...all wrapped into one!!! 

It is hard to believe that the school year is half over and the second half of the school year is upon us! Prayers for each of you for a safe and happy holiday season. I am looking forward to a GREAT rest of the school year with your wonderful kiddos!

You could feel the excitement in the air today...Christmas is almost here!  But, still one more 1/2 day of fun and learning with our friends!

We enjoyed our last full day before Christmas break!

And it was a bit of a CHRISTMAS CHAOS day!!!

We are exploring a bit more...what we can do with our new magnetic blocks/cubes...

We finished morning meeting with our friend the gingerbread man. Each page gave our gingerbread man a positional word or direction on where he was supposed to run!  We had to put the gingerbread man in the correct place in relation to the gingerbread house.  Understanding spatial relationships and positional words are early math skills.

Happy 1/2 Birthday Everly! Thank you for sharing your special day with us...

We enjoyed a bit of sunshine as we played on the preschool playground!

It's PARTY TIME!!!!

First a yummy snack...pretzel sticks, graham crackers, and strawberries with Redi-Whip!

We enjoyed hearing all about Pete the Cat and his 12 Days of Christmas!

Time for some fun activities!!!

We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!

There was a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!

We decorated wood Christmas ornaments!

So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!

Finally, we headed off to the great outdoors to get our bodies moving!

During Jesus Time we watched the Beginner's Bible - The Nativity to remind us of the whole Christmas story and the true meaning for Christmas...
