Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's class!

Nolan was next to spend the evening with mat man...here is...

"Mat man Spidey" and friends!

We sure had some fun on this wonderful fall day...

Some of us worked on shape recognition and improved hand-eye coordination using magnatiles!

Edie perfected her recipe!

While Audrey is excited to but some yummy cake!

To finish up morning meeting we worked on quantifying, identifying numbers, and understanding positional words.  One friend would roll the dice and tell the class how many dots they rolled.  He/she would then find that number on the paper.  I would read the word and then...

Natalia is "in front of" the chair...

Nolan is "on" the chair...

Luke is "behind" the chair...

Friday guest readers are the best! Nolan's grandma shared 2 great books with us today...

The sun was out for today's trip to the preschool playground

And the weather keeps cooperating, so our free choice Friday included extra outside time...

Edie finally found lil' sis Elsie...woo hoo!

During Jesus time today we enjoyed a little dancing while singing the "Arky, Arky" song (Rise and Shine)! We then watched a short God's story video retelling the story of Noah's Ark!  Remember...God keeps His promises!!!

Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks for checking out our Thursday in preschool!

Addison visited with mat man last night! She'd like to introduce,,,

Elsa!

We worked on shape recognition and improved hand-eye coordination using magnatiles!

"Mudd's Munchies" is open for business...it is still technically under construction, but we sure had fun "working" in there today!

To finish up morning meeting we worked on quantifying, identifying numbers, and understanding positional words.  One friend would roll the dice and tell the class how many dots they rolled.  He/she would then find that number on the paper.  I would read the word and then...

Guess what we rolled today...

Today we sang a song, teaching us that we always start our letters at the top, not the bottom or middle, but the TOP!  We then practiced forming the letters N - T with our "magic" fingers on the carpet!

What a great time we had outside working our large motor skills...

Time for small groups (centers)!

With Mrs. Mudd we created a group art piece, working together to make the sign for our bakery.  We remembered to hold the paint brush like a pencil, and move the brush gently back and forth.

With Mrs.Fahey, we painted with fun colors.  But, did we use regular paint brushes...goodness no!  Our art tool of choice today...fresh broccoli!!!  Some chose to use the broccoli like a brush, while others chose to use it more like a stamp.

We improved our writing and drawing skills as we wrote about or drew our favorite food or sweet treat!

Exploring and learning about everything in our new bakery.  A great way to practice language and social skills.

We love time outside to get our bodies moving!

For Jesus Time today we learned more about Noah and his family. Noah trusted God and built the ark. God saved them and many animals when he sent so much rain that it covered the whole earth. Once back on dry land, God sent a rainbow as a reminder that He always keeps His promises!

See you same place tomorrow...
