Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's class!
Our room was full of activity this morning during free choice...
We were SO happy to find we had some rainbow coloring sheets left over, and now they were out to paint!
Addison and Audrey were already eating dinner! Dramatic play is a great for practicing language and social skills...
Teamwork and some steady hands built this tower of cups...
To finish morning meeting, I brought with me 7 different items from around the classroom! We discussed each item and then "locked" each one in our brain. Then I covered all 7 items with a towel and took 2 items away. I did this several times, removing 2 different items each time. Our job was to recall which items were missing! The ability to recognize and recall is an early cognitive skill.
It was time to say goodbye to our rice in the sensory table. Look at all these helpers! We are excited to see what will be in there next week!
Mrs. Holtz, Zion school secretary, was our guest reader today! We loved hearing the funny book "Peanut Butter & Cupcake".
We were excited to get outside time with Mrs. Horn's preschool class!
We enjoyed our Free Choice Friday...outside in this perfect weather! We are going to soak it up as much as we can!
