Welcome to our Wednesday in preschool...
Even fewer days of school left in 2025 AND it's almost Christmas!
A little candy construction to get our brains and bodies moving this morning...
To wrap up morning meeting, we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (previous teacher at Zion). This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!
Miss Steinbacher led chapel as we learned about the last 2 types of Chrismons on the church Christmas trees, the manger and the shepherds staff (which we all thought looked like candy canes)!
We hit the preschool playground on our way back from chapel to get our wiggles out before Christmas Party #1!
It's PARTY TIME!!!!
First a yummy snack...Gingerbread shaped pretzels, strawberries, and redi-whip!
While Mrs. Fahey was cleaning up from snack, I read the book, "The First Christmas Night". This book is a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of our Savior, Jesus!
Time for some fun activities!!!
We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!
There was even a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!
We scratched off "magic" Christmas Star ornaments!
So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!
To wrap up the party, we enjoyed the story of Christmas from the eyes of a wiseman's camel, Humphrey, and his journey to meet the baby Jesus!
After all the fun and games...a little more to get the wiggles out...parking lot playground!
Until tomorrow!
