It was a Thursday full of excitement in preschool today!!!
Just 1 1/2 days of school left in 2021 AND a Christmas party!
First...we finished our check-in...
Worked together to create with blocks...
And, enjoyed a little dramatic play at the table "race track"!
Or a little "eye spy" with candy construction...
To wrap up morning meeting, we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (currently a Zion reading specialist). This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!

We enjoyed our last chapel of 2021! Mrs. Rouland and Rupert reminded us what we are waiting for during Advent...the birth of baby Jesus, our Savior and King!
We were so excited to see that the sun had come out to join us on the preschool playground!

First a yummy snack...Christmas pretzels, strawberries, and redi-whip!
While Mrs. Dose was cleaning up from snack, I read the book, "The First Christmas Night". This book is a great reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. The birth of our Savior, Jesus!

We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!
So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!
We decorated wood Christmas ornaments!
There was even a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!
To wrap up the party, we enjoyed the story of Christmas from the eyes of a wiseman's camel, Humphrey, and his journey to meet the baby Jesus!
A big THANK YOU to Mrs. Bottoms, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Gnade, and Mrs. Byrd, the parent volunteers for today's Christmas party!
We then went back outside to release all of that left over energy from our party!
