We enjoyed our last full day before Christmas break!

And nothing makes it better than PAJAMA day!!!

To finish morning meeting we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (currently a Zion reading specialist).  This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!  A few friends even helped read it with me today!

Happy 5th Birthday Cooper! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

It's PARTY TIME!!!!

First a yummy snack...pretzel twists and strawberries!

We enjoyed hearing all about how Pete the Cat saved Christmas!

And then bundled up to get out the wiggles before the rest of our party!

Time for some fun activities!!!

We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!

So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!

We decorated wood ornaments!

There was even a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!

We wrapped up the party with a beautiful book all about the night baby Jesus was born!

And...a reading of "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Mr. Debrick, Mr. Marolf, and Mrs. Haun!

After all that "partying" we headed outside for a bit of exercise and fresh air!

During Jesus Time today Zippy was waiting and waiting for a present from his grandma, he was afraid she would not keep her promise.  But, it was finally delivered...to our classroom!  Anna and Simeon waited and waited for God to keep his promise.  And He did...sending Jesus to the world!
We remembered that God keeps his promises...He gives us what we need!

Have a good night!
