It was a Wednesday full of excitement in preschool today!!!
Just 2 1/2 days of school left in 2020 AND a Christmas party!
Writing and drawing skills at work while painting with water colors!
Scissor skills being improved as we cut wrapping paper!
We finished morning meeting with our friend the gingerbread man. One friend at a time came to the front as I read a page of our gingerbread book! Each page gave our gingerbread man a positional word or direction on where he was supposed to run! Each friend's job was to place the gingerbread man in the correct place in relation to the gingerbread house. Understanding spatial relationships and positional words are early math skills.
It's PARTY TIME!!!!
First a yummy snack...pretzel twists and strawberries!
We enjoyed hearing all about how Pete the Cat saved Christmas!
We did bundle up and head outside for a bit, however the camera did not...OOPS!
Times for some fun activities!!!
We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!
There was even a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!
We made Christmas paper chains!
So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!
We wrapped up the party with a beautiful book all about the night baby Jesus was born!
We enjoyed one last chapel for 2020! Listening as we heard the Christmas story unfold...continue telling the Christmas story at your house these last days of Advent leading to Christmas day!
Thanks for stopping by!
