Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's class!
One more day to make ornaments for our class Christmas tree!
Just a few friends hanging out in their fort!
The "candy construction" building set was a big hit again today. We had a great time expressing creativity and improving fine motor control while building with "candy"!
Our monster trucks are getting more elaborate everyday...and this one is quite symmetrical!
Coloring is a perfect way to improve writing and drawing skills!
To wrap up morning meeting, some of our friends took turns rolling the dice, recognizing/counting the number of dots, then finding that number on our "positional words" paper. (Quantifying, connecting numerals to their quantities and understanding positional words are early math skills)
Oliver put the dice "on" the present!
Mara is "beside" the present!
Parker is "under" the present!
Our guest reader, via video, was Mrs. Oswald (half day preschool teacher)! We sure enjoyed her book all about a silly chameleon...
We sure do love our large motor time outside!
It's...free choice Friday, and our "good junk" was open for business!!!!
And...we did a great job getting those wiggles out on the parking lot playground!
During Jesus Time today we read the Christmas story from The Bible (the big people one!) and sang songs to remind us that the reason for Christmas is to celebrate Jesus birthday! God sent Jesus as a Savior for each and everyone of us, to take away our sins!
Thanks for wrapping up your week with us!
