You could feel the excitement in the air today...Christmas is almost here!  But, still one more 1/2 day of fun and learning with our friends!

So...for the last time in 2022...check out our day!!!

Tuesday, December 20, 2022

We enjoyed our last full day before Christmas break!

And nothing makes it better than CHRISTMAS CHAOS day!!!

Two quick reminders...

11:50 Dismissal tomorrow, Wednesday, December 21…Our class will dismiss at 11:50 on this day to begin Christmas break.  There is NO aftercare option, please make arrangements to pick up your child at 11:50 this day.  We will not be eating lunch at preschool, but we will have morning snack.

There is NO school this Thursday, December 22 - Tuesday, January 3…blessings on your Christmas Holiday! (school resumes on Wednesday, January 4, 2023).

Here we go...

We worked on hand-eye coordination while weaving laces in and out of Christmas lacing cards!

Writing and drawing skills at work while painting with water colors!

We finished morning meeting with our friend the gingerbread man. Each page gave our gingerbread man a positional word or direction on where he was supposed to run!  We had to put the gingerbread man in the correct place in relation to the gingerbread house.  Understanding spatial relationships and positional words are early math skills.

Happy 4th Birthday Ely! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

We headed to our last chapel service of 2022. We were excited to see all 4 candles on the advent wreath lit and listen to Pastor Fieberkorn as he reminded us what it truly means to love.

We enjoyed the bit of sunshine that peaked through the clouds from time to time as we played on the preschool playground!

As we inch another day closer to Christmas day, we watched "A Charlie Brown Christmas"!

Finally, we headed off to a bit of extra gym time to get our bodies moving!

Thanks for stopping by!

PJ days on a Monday are the best!!!

On to our day...

Writing and drawing skills at work while painting with water colors!

We worked on hand-eye coordination while building with candy construction!

Just some friends, enjoying a little Christmas lunch!

They were in deep conversation about the cars...then I asked for a quick pic!

Then, we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (currently a Zion reading specialist).  This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!

We enjoyed larger motor time outside, getting our wiggles out before a little surprise!

As we are another day closer to Christmas day, we watched a Veggie Tales Christmas movie, "The Star of Christmas"!  It taught us all about the true "star of Christmas"...baby Jesus, and the true story of God's love!

We then headed to the gym for a bit of exercise...

For Jesus Time, we enjoyed hearing the Christmas story from Beginner's Bible!

Have a good night...
