We enjoyed our last Tuesday before Christmas break!

Two quick reminders...

11:50 Dismissal THIS Friday, December 20…Our class will dismiss at 11:50 on this day to begin Christmas break. There is NO aftercare option, please make arrangements to pick up your child at 11:50. We will not be eating lunch at preschool, but we will have morning snack.

There is NO school Monday, December 23 - Friday, January 3…blessings on your Christmas Holiday! (school resumes on Monday, January 6, 2025).

Onto our day...

And nothing makes it better than PAJAMA day!!!

We were excited to find a new manipulative in the classroom today! Think magnatile meets unifix cube...we can't wait to see what we can create over the next few days!

A little small motor control at work while lacing strings in and out of Christmas lacing cards!

Silas decorated his birthday crown for 2025! He will be our first birthday celebration of the new year...

To finish morning meeting, we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (former Zion preschool teacher).  This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!

It was a perfect day to explore and have some large motor fun on the preschool playground!

As we are another day closer to Christmas day, we watched a Veggie Tales Christmas movie, "The Little Drummer Boy"!  It taught us all about the true meaning of Christmas...baby Jesus, and the true story of God's love!

Woo Hoo!!! It's been awhile since bikes have been out...

During Jesus Time, Zippy reminded us how amazing it must have been for the shepherds to be the first to meet baby Jesus after he was born. And, how exciting to be the ones to spread the good news that the Savior was born. We too can share our love for Jesus, it's as simple as telling someone, " Jesus Loves You"!

Thanks for stopping by...
