The Christmas excitement is in the air...
AND on our "twinkle toes"!!!
We are exploring a bit more...what we can do with our new magnetic blocks/cubes...
Some painting to get us in the Christmas spirit...
To finish morning meeting, we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (former Zion preschool teacher). This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDOLPH!!!
Happy Birthday Colton (a tiny bit early)...thank you for sharing your special day with us!
We had our last Advent chapel service for this school year! Mrs. Fish reminded us of all the joy we experience during Advent and Christmas. But, the greatest joy of all is the birth of our Savior, Jesus!
Then...off to the playground to get our wiggles out before we get to PARTY!
It's PARTY TIME!!!!
First a yummy snack...pretzel sticks, graham crackers, and strawberries with Redi-Whip!
I think we loved the Redi-Whip!!!
We enjoyed hearing all about Pete the Cat and how he saved Christmas!
Time for some fun activities!!!
We loved the hot cocoa marshmallow toss!
There was a little "pin the nose on the snowman"!
We created on "magic" Christmas stars!
So much fun getting to play Christmas BINGO!
We wrapped up the party with a beautiful book all about the night baby Jesus was born!
After all that "partying" we headed outside for a bit of exercise and fresh air!
We even had one more surprise! Zion's 6th graders wrote Christmas books, complete with pictures. We were blessed with three young ladies reading their books to us! We LOVE when big kids from Zion visit our classroom. Maybe one day, our friends will get to come back to read to my class when they are in 6th grade!
Thanks for stopping by...
