Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's Class!
A few chose painting...improving writing and drawing skills...
Many ventured to the wood shapes to sort and share with friends...
We were excited to explore our updated science center, all things from nature and God's creation!!! We explored two at a time, to learn the safe/gentle way to use our new area!
To finish morning meeting I placed 6 nature items on the carpet! Our friends job was to study the items and then "lock" them in his/her brain. I covered them up with a towel and took 1 or 2 items away! I couldn't even fool them one time! Recognizing and recalling is an early cognitive skill.
Thank you to our Friday guest reader today, Hudson's mom! We helped her read the first book using our rhyming skills, and were quite attentive and curious learning about the dinosaur on the 13th floor in the second book!
Off to enjoy the beautiful day we were blessed with...
A bit of extra time on each playground, for our free choice Friday!
During Jesus Time today we watched a Saddleback Kids video about Joseph forgiving his brothers. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. We too must forgive those that are unkind to us!
