One of just a couple painters we had this week!
We noticed it was a new month during morning meeting! Our September pie graph had been filled in! We saw it was different than August, that it also had some cloudy days. We also noticed we had the most sunny days in September. Comparing and understanding more, less, and the same are early math skills!
We then finished up morning meeting with Wiggle Worm...he is back for the first time this year!!! Today he brought with him uppercase letters on "milk". If they got the wiggle worm, the whole class got to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. But, when I said, "Freeze!" everyone had to stop wiggling and freeze. Our friends were having fun getting to be "wiggly" in the classroom, but they didn't know they were learning self regulation and improving listening skills! It's hard to stop and freeze when having so much fun!
If a letter is picked, that friend told everyone the letter name and the letter sound!

The first chapel of the month means we head to church for our service. Mrs. Helmkamp taught us about the Trinity, one God yet three persons...
Now that our bird feeder is complete, we added a bit of bird seed to two of the cups to see if we can get a few bird visitors!
Off to the playground on this "Whatever you want Wednesday"!
Speaking of "Whatever you want Wednesday", we chose more outside time after getting a drink and cooling down with a book in the classroom!
