Somehow it's the end of May and the last week of school!!!
Just a few final reminders...
There is NO HOT LUNCH program the rest of THIS week (5/22 - 5/23). Your child MUST bring a cold lunch with a drink on Wednesday, 5/21 - Thursday, 5/23.
Preschool Closing Chapel(s)…this year preschool will have 2 closing chapels! Parents are invited to join us on Wednesday, 5/22 and/or Thursday, 5/23 at 8:15 am in the church sanctuary, as we worship together to close out the 2023/2024 school year!
The last day of school for preschool is Thursday, May 23…and there is NO after school care on this day. Please make arrangements to pick up your child at 2:50 pm on Thursday, 5/23.
On to our day...
A few friends enjoyed our last book on CD for the school year...
BB and Corinne improved writing and drawing skills as they painted with watercolors one more time...
A little cup stacking action taking place...
That turned into a fun game of "bubble gum, bubble gum"...
On my way into the school building this morning, James (Henry's brother) stopped me to show me this cute, odd looking caterpillar. He asked if I would like to take it to show my class. Well...of course...
After a bit of research we decided it was a swallowtail caterpillar, and those"eyes" aren't eyes at all. Instead a type of camouflage to make predators think it's a snake!
We read a special book...giving a glimpse into kindergarten...for our friends that have just about finished his/her preschool "career"!
Then...time for bubbles and water day FUN!!!
After drying off and changing...time to see what was happening at the "big kid" playground!
During Jesus time we watched a short video that told the story of Lydia being baptized, becoming a Christian, then becoming a missionary to tell everyone she could all about Jesus!
