A few friends enjoyed reading "Hugless Douglas and the Big Sleepover" on CD!
Some tiny lego creations (great for small motor control)!
A few friends have been building and playing "house" the last couple of days!
A little paint, a little water, and a blank white canvas means a whole lot of creating!
We love to sort and make patterns using a little teamwork!
We loved "who is missing?" so much last week...we brought it back! We wrapped up morning meeting with a super fun game that improved our recalling skills! One friend hid in the bathroom while another friend was covered up with a blanket. The friend that was in the bathroom had to try and figure out who was missing. This is tough to do with this number of friends, but we did GREAT! And...what was possibly even harder? The friends sitting around the carpet had to use all the self regulation they had to not tell who was hiding under the blanket!
Mrs. Helmkamp led chapel today. She showed and "taught" us how to say "Jesus loves you" in a few different languages. We then heard about Pentecost, when Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to help tell everyone this great news!
We'd be okay if the rain could stay away for more than a day! But, we also know how to get our bodies moving in the commons...
Henry asked if we could play the spider game...of course we can! We had some tired, sweaty kiddos...
We enjoyed a short clip from Mary Poppins...Let's Go Fly A Kite!
Then...it was a great day to fly a KITE!!!
We expressed our creativity and worked the finger, wrist, and hand muscles decorating plastic bag "kites" with markers!!!
Then to the gym to FLY, FLY, FLY our kites!!!!
