These 3 friends improved small motor control as they created with legos!
Laina took a turn at being the doctor first. Then, they told me, they were going to takes turns so Emma could be the doctor next!
Jack strengthened the finger, wrist, and hand muscles as he created with playdoh!
I can say that we were EXCITED to go outside this morning!
Some friends enjoyed taking a stroll on our stepping stone path the preschool classes created last week!
I bet you can imagine...we were excited to see Tricky Mouse is back this week! Each day he will bring different uppercase and lowercase letters to hide under. He couldn't fool us though, we knew every letter (and the sound it makes) to be able to find him every time!
Miss Bethany was our guest reader today! She brought 2 of her favorite books from when she was younger.
Time for small groups (centers)!
We improved our cutting skills as we made an earth puzzle.
With summer just around the corner we got into the vacation bible school spirit! We had a VBS dance party!
We improved our writing and drawing skills as we journaled about fun activities we THINK we are going to do this summer!
After he/she cut his/her puzzle into pieces, each friend had to put his/her puzzle back together and glue it onto a piece of paper. Spatial awareness is an early math skill.
We then got our bodies moving again as we played on the preschool playground before lunch!
During Jesus Time today we remembered the story of Peter healing the crippled man. We recalled that Peter was given the power to heal from Jesus. Jesus has the power to heal us from our sin-sickness and forgives us when we make poor choices!
