So...in case you didn't know...it's Trunk or Treat Day!!! I may have been reminded a time or two ;o)

We then finished up morning meeting with Wiggle Worm...he is back!!! Today he brought with him uppercase letters on "community helper" cards. If they got the wiggle worm, the whole class got to wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. But, when I said, "Freeze!" everyone had to stop wiggling and freeze. Our friends were having fun getting to be "wiggly" in the classroom, but they didn't know they were learning self regulation! It's hard to stop and freeze when having so much fun!
If a letter is picked, that friend told everyone the letter name and the letter sound!
Yay for Friday Guest Readers! We loved having Mia's mom read 2 fun books to us this morning. We have a great group of listeners in our class!
We spent as much of our free choice Friday outside today, enjoying the perfect fall weather. Playing outside is great for large motor skills, social emotional skills, and problem solving skills!
We were amazed by the spider we found that was camouflaged by the sidewalk. A few friends wanted to make sure it made it safely to the grass ;o)
During Jesus Time today Zippy helped us remember that when we are afraid of something we can trust in God to keep us safe. Whenever we are scared we can know that God is taking care of us!
