"Dinosaurs in the Den" wrapped up morning meeting today! We started with 5 dinosaurs...
Some got a little sleepy and decided to take a nap in their den! Our job was to figure out how many dinosaurs were sleeping by counting how many dinosaurs stayed out to play. How many are in the den if 1 is left outside to play??? This is a tough concept to grasp, it was still tricky for many of us today. But, as the week continued, we did improve upon this early math skill!
Happy 4th Birthday Jane! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!
As a part of Jane's birthday celebration, she got to paint a special picture (she chose pink and purple as her colors today). As each friend celebrates his/her birthday, I will hang his/her painting on the wall. By May we should have 1 large, beautiful painting!
Mr. Marolf was our guest reader today! We were great listeners as he read us a book about pets and a book about dragons only eating noodles on Tuesdays!
We enjoyed our Free Choice Friday...here are just a few activities we chose for today!

During Jesus time today we remembered that we need to honor and love Jesus. He made the ultimate sacrifice, dying on the cross to save us from our sins!
