We had a great day in preschool!

A couple friends strengthened the finger, wrist, and hand muscles forming little "stripes" of playdoh.  Then, added the correct number of stripes to each candy cane!

A few friends expressed creativity while painting a Christmas picture reminding us the reason for the season!

This group decided to improve writing and drawing skills as they created on blank "canvas"!

To finish morning meeting we read together "The Very Hungry Reindeer" by Mrs. Smith (currently a Zion 2nd grade teacher).  This "spin off" of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" has this reindeer eating some silly Christmas things...and he turns into...RUDULPH!!!  A few friends even helped read it with me today!

A wonderful day to spend outside for large motor time!

As we near closer and closer to Christmas day, we watched a Veggie Tales Christmas movie.  It taught us all about St. Nicholas and the gift of giving to others!

We enjoyed more outside time, on this pleasant December day, before heading in for Jesus Time!

During Jesus Time today we remembered that Jesus is the light of the world.  He gave us the best gift ever, one that no one can buy with money.  He gave us the gift of him dying on the cross, to save us from our sins and to live with him forever in heaven!

Brooklyn gave it her best effort, taking a few pictures before running off to play with friends!

Have a wonderful Wednesday evening!
