Thank you for checking out our Monday in preschool!
Some friends enjoyed magnet fun in the sensory table! There were some items from around the classroom hiding in the corn! We used magnets to find the buried treasures. But, it was tricky, not everything new could be "picked up" by the magnet!
It is great to see our magnatile creations change from day to day, in many cases getting more complex. A fun way to improve spatial awareness.
A few friends were super excited that the puppet theater has returned! Using puppets for dramatic play is a great way to act out feelings in a comfortable setting.
Brrr...it appears that November weather is finally upon us! We still loved being outside!
And...it was what we had been waiting for all morning...the Charlie Brown feast had finally arrived!!!
We gathered together with 3 other preschool classes in the church "movie theater" to watch the classic "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving"! (Snoopy even joined us!)
Then it was time to eat our Charlie Brown Feast! We enjoyed all of the same items Snoopy and Woodstock made for Thanksgiving dinner! Graham crackers with butter (instead of toast...that would have been A LOT of toast to make), popcorn, jelly beans, pretzel sticks, and jello with whip cream and a cherry on top! It was awesome, enjoying a "feast" with our friends, while using table clothes we made with our very own hands!
A BIG thank you to all who donated food items and/or your time to make our feast FANTASTIC!!!
When we returned from our feast, we had a chance for more outside time, on the "big kid" playground this time!
During Jesus Time today we learned that when we know that we need to do something, even if we don't want to do it, we can trust that God will help us!
