Happy Friday from preschool!

The orange "tablecloth" was back for us to create on this morning...drawing pictures of what we are thankful for.  We will be using this (and the one we finished yesterday) for our Charlie Brown Thanksgiving feast next week!

Claire and Laina enjoy one last snack from "Mudd's Muffins and More" before the bakery "closed" it's doors today!

We enjoyed our windy outside time today...as we spent a little time climbing and riding bikes!

Mrs. Mudd brought with her 6 items.  These items all had to do with things found outside in nature, especially during the Fall season!  All 6 were covered with a towel, then 2 taken away!  What was missing? I couldn't fool them, they did a great job of recognizing and recalling (an early cognitive skill).

Happy 5th Birthday Kyler!  Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

With Mrs. Mudd we improved our scissor cutting skills!  Each friend had a chance to cut 5 turkey feathers (drawn on a 3 x 5 card) while I observed his/her cutting skills.  Then he/she glued those feathers onto his/her turkey body (printed on paper...check them out in his/her portfolio...eventually!)

With Mrs. Dose we played a fun game of Thanksgiving BINGO, improving our matching skills (early math)!

We improved hand eye coordination as we weaved shoestrings in and out of Thanksgiving lacing cards!

We wrote our new fall words (from our word wall) in our journals.  We improved our writing skills and are beginning to understand that strings of letters make up words!

With all the awesome weather we've had, we haven't been to the gym too much!  Well...today was the day...to play some "Mr. Fox" to get warmed up...

And...then get a chance to do a little gymnastics (forward rolls and log rolls only).  We also had to remember to wait for the person before us to get completely off the mat!!  We did great!

During Jesus Time today we remembered that God provided Ruth to help Naomi, and Boaz to help both of them.  We then took some time to share something that God provided each of us that we are thankful for!
