It was a Tuesday full of joy in preschool!!!
Just a few days of school left in 2025 AND it's almost Christmas!
Two quick reminders...
11:50 Dismissal this Friday, December 19…Our class will dismiss at 11:50 on this day to begin Christmas break. There is NO aftercare option, please make arrangements to pick up your child at 11:50. We will not be eating lunch at preschool, but we will have morning snack.
There is NO school Monday, December 22 - Friday, January 2…blessings on your Christmas Holiday! (school resumes on Monday, January 5, 2026).
Onto our day...
We enjoyed decorating special bookmarks that will be used during National Lutheran Schools Week in January! We did our best to stay in the lines, and each friend had a little extra practice writing their name, on the back...
Violet and Emmi were excited to paint again this morning, after the easel not being out yesterday!
We finished morning meeting with our friend the gingerbread man. Each page gave our gingerbread man a positional word or direction on where he was supposed to run! Understanding spatial relationships and positional words are early math skills.
We jumped for joy when we heard it was time to go outside and that it was going to be warmer than yesterday!
As we near closer and closer to Christmas day, we watched a Veggie Tales Christmas movie. It taught us all about the Little Drummer Boy and his gift of playing music for baby Jesus!
We then headed outside for a bit more exercise and fresh air!
It was the day for a visit from Miss Steinbacher for Jesus time! She retold the Christmas Story, reminding us we have a special job, to tell others all about Jesus...
Until tomorrow...
