Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's Class!

Hand-eye coordination, small motor control, and teamwork were front and center this morning while creating with legos and experimenting with ramps and balls...

A few friends enjoyed reading a book on CD!

We wrapped up morning meeting with a super fun game that improved our recalling skills!  One friend hid in the bathroom while another friend was covered up with a blanket.  The friend that was in the bathroom had to try and figure out who was missing.  This is tough to do with this number of friends, but we did GREAT!  And...what was possibly even harder? The friends sitting around the carpet had to use all the self regulation they had to not tell who was hiding under the blanket!

I can't believe it's our last guest reader of the 2025-2026 school year! We were all ears as Mr. Marolf shared "The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors" with us. A big THANK YOU to all that were able to join us on a Friday to read a book or two...

Check out what we found on the playground this morning...a baby praying mantis! There were actually about 10 of them...we couldn't stop watching them for the longest time...

On this final free choice Friday, we cooled off for a bit inside and enjoyed some cold water...then, right back out we went.  Not only were we working our large motor skills, we are also practicing our social skills as we learn to work and play with friends!

During Jesus Time, a Saddleback kids video shared the story of Philip and the Ethiopian one last time this week! Remember, with the Holy Spirit's help, it is our job to tell others the Good News about Jesus!

Have a great weekend!
