We had a great first day in preschool!

Please take a few minutes to check out our day...

We all started our day with our first check-in...writing his/her name on a special piece of paper!

Carter got right to work building with blocks...

Nolan was the star of the puppet show!

After some fun, stacking the cups...we did an awesome job sorting them by color...

Each friend picked a job for the first time today...

Colton chose custodian!

Lainey and Maeva chose table washer...

Charlotte was an excellent meteorologist...

While Nolan gave us our schedule for the day, as our messenger...

Everley practiced her one to one correspondence as she set up cups, as snack helper!

Addison had fun as calendar helper...

Corinne was today's line leader...

While Luke was our door holder for the day...

Lincoln made sure to keep the line moving, as our caboose...

Natalia enjoyed being our photographer...

Laina picked out a book full of rhyming words, as our librarian...

Carter chose to be our bathroom monitor for the day...

Kyle kicked off Jesus Time, as our Invocation leader!

Finally, Olivia chose to be our lunch helper!

We enjoyed our first snack as a class...

We gathered in the field for an ALL SCHOOL photo...taken by a drone!

Then...woo hoo...we were so excited to go outside to the preschool playground!

We sure do love seeing our siblings during the day!

We read/watched the book "The Kissing Hand" on the smartboard!  We loved getting to hear all about little raccoon's first day of school and then compared it to our first day of school!

Time for small groups (centers)!

With Mrs. Fahey we improved small motor control and patterning skills as we placed cubes together, making a tall tower, maybe even in a pattern!

With Mrs. Mudd we created a special first day of preschool art piece...look for it coming home soon!  While waiting his/her turn, we enjoyed coloring a picture of our theme verse for this year "The Way, The Truth, The Life", John 14:6!

We improved large motor control, expressed creativity, and worked as a team as we built our house or the school with blocks!

We improved spatial awareness and small motor control as we put puzzles together!

I am so proud of everyone!  We did a wonderful job of following directions for our first experience with small groups with our new class!

Although our day included a lot of learning routine and at times felt rushed, we were still able to get some more outside time in (to get those wiggles out) before lunch!

During Jesus time today we read John 14:6 from Bible. We learned that everything that you are looking for can be found in Him. All of your questions can be answered by Him!

That's a wrap of day one...join us tomorrow for day two!!!
