Happy Friday from Mrs. Mudd's Class!
Playdoh doesn't disappoint...which is perfect since it strengthens all those important muscles used for writing!!! We also had to practice patience while waiting to have a turn...
And...we had one happy little baker this morning, hanging out at "Mudd's Munchies"!
To wrap up morning meeting we played "pick a card, any card"! I held 6 cards in my hand (upside down). One friend at a time got the chance to pick 1 card from my hand. On that card was a positional word. He/she showed the class, I read the word (some of us tried to sound it out first), then gave him/her an instruction using that positional word! Understanding spatial relationships, following directions in relation to proximity is an early math skill!
Our guest reader today was Mrs. Helmkamp, Zion EC Director. She shared 3 of the 10 MO Building Blocks nominee books currently available at your local library, Take a trip and check 'em out!

A bit of extra time on each playground, for our free choice Friday!
During Jesus Time today we watched a Saddleback Kids video about Joseph forgiving his brothers. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. We too must forgive those that are unkind to us!
