Happy Friday from preschool!
We began our day improving small motor control, writing/drawing skills, and planning/playing with others...
Wiggle worms arrived with penguins and lowercase letters! If a wiggle worm was picked...well, you know...let's wiggle!!! (And, it's still hard to stop when Mrs. Mudd says freeze. Good practice in self regulation)
If a penguin was picked...give the letter name and the letter sound (early literacy skills).
Miss Steinbacher was our guest reader today...have I mentioned we LOVE having church workers read to us on Fridays! We can't wait to see her again on Tuesday for Jesus Time!
It was a chilly one, so we bundled up and got our bodies moving!

We began changing our dramatic play area to a symphony orchestra...some friends were curious about the symphony, so we googled it and have been watching and listening for the last couple days!
We are SOOOOO excited to play in there on Monday!
Elena and Olivia had a turn with the favorite book bag! They each loved getting to tell us about their favorite book, and showing us their drawing of their favorite parts of their book. We ALL enjoyed listening as I read both books to the class...
For Jesus Time today we enjoyed a short video about Jesus calming the storm! We were reminded that through God all things are possible!
