We had a fun Wednesday in preschool!

Many friends practiced forming letters with our magnet wood pieces!  A great way to practice proper letter formation without having to worry about holding/using a pencil!

We're getting a bit more creative with our ramp creations!

And...of course...a little painting to get our morning started!

To wrap up morning meeting we took the first step in what we will be building in our dramatic play area.  We used stickers to vote what we should name our pizza place!

And, the winner is...

We enjoyed chapel led by Mrs. Helmkamp, it was so sad when Adam and Eve made the first sin and things were no longer perfect...

But, remember God loves us so much that he sent Jesus to save us from those sins, to make us whole again!

Not just one, but two siblings had a chance to see us while we were outside!

Time for small groups (centers)!

With Mrs. Mudd we practiced our scissor skills!  Each friend cut a 3x5 card however he/she chose.  When finished cutting he/she glued what he/she cut on to a paper for his/her portfolio! While each friend was cutting I observed the following:

How he/she cut the paper
Can he/she grasp the scissors independently
Holding the scissors with thumbs up or down
Can he/she open/close independently

With Mrs. Fahey, we painted our favorite foods using our watercolor paints. Mrs. Fahey took dictation as each friend told her what he/she painted!

We were super excited to explore the beans in the sensory table...we have been practicing our patience and having to wait since Monday!

When talking about food the last couple days, it came up the pizza might come from a restaurant.  So...we built a pizza place or two out of legos!

Outside we went...to get our wiggles out before lunch...

Until next time...
